How much energy does power line networking use?
I've installed 2 x Devolo 85mbps units at home, one linked to my cable modem, the other to my Mac. Assuming i'm connected to the internet 24 hours a day, how much electricity will these use? How does this compare to, say, a mobile phone charger, or a 40 watt lamp?
Nearer to the charger ... look on the units (or in the manual) for a power rating (I would expect should something like "5mw" )
