I have a fugifilm A205 I can not get the card to work in my card reader. The card reader works with SM/MS,SD?
I have a fugifilm A205 I can not get the card to work in my card reader. The card reader works with SM/MS,MSPRO,SD/MMC,CF/MICRODRIVE. The card is a fujifilm xD-Picture Card. Do I need an adaptor to make it work or is it not compatable. I am new to all of this so I could be doing something wrong. The computer is an emachine with a built in card reader.
If the card reader doesn't specify that it reads XD cards then chances are it won't work. The XD card slot is normally with the Smartmedia ones (at least on the ones I have) and if it reads XD, the SM slot will be a little thicker on one side. Otherwise, you best bet is to get a USB card reader or a CF-XD adaptor. I think the card reader may be cheaper though.
