Blackberry Curve trackball won't scroll down when I go outside?
Hi, I have Blackberry Curve 9300 and whenever I go outside the trackball won't scroll down, Its perfectly fine inside the house, but as soon as i take one step outside, it immediately stops working. Ive only had the phone about 5 weeks and it started happening around 3 weeks ago. I have a passlock on it and when I go outside, it won't let me type the letters in order of my password, I type a letter and it highlights the letter and starts spelling the password backwards. This is really strange and its soo annoying. Ive never dropped the phone and ive got a rubber case on it. What should I do and has anyone else got this strange problem?
The touchpad works with light, as its an optical touch pad.
Try using the phone in a shadow. If works, then your touch pad is fine. You say you've had it for under 5 weeks so I just giving BlackBerry a call and asking them to take a look at it (which should be free at this stage).
