what will happen if you get a at&t iphone 4 case for verizon?
so im getting the verizon iphone 4 in like 2 weeks. and this has always been my dream case:

and it only fits the at&t version 
so my question is, does it really matter if it's not made for verizon and i use it anyways? would it even have an effect? please answer, thank you!

The product in question probably will not fit your Verizon iPhone 4. The difference between the two phones is the mute toggle on the left side of your phone is slightly lower than on an AT&T version of the phone. Because the Speck case you want has cut outs for these specific buttons on the side of the phone, it will most likely not be a good fit.
You should check out Otterboxes (which are universal), cases made specifically for Verizon iPhone 4, or cases made for AT&T that do not have specific cut outs, but rather just one big cut out on the side.
