which is the best internal card reader i can buy to fit in the place of floppy drive?
how did you connect it too?
My advise is always to check out the number of wires... I have a card reder (now unused) that has, and yes i did count, 16 wires for various useless things. Try and keep this number down.
Mainly because it prohibits airflow. Apart from that, the best is just one that reads most cards... cheaply...
Connecting it is simple, you can take out the Floppy and fix it into its slot (now im assuming you know the ins and outs of a PC) then the wires will either go into the IEEE1394 (firewire) socket on your motherbard (the 12 pin socket with 1 missing)
Or it will (this is most common, and I havent seen many readers with Firewire connection) connect to a USB port, which you will need to make sure that you have spare. (this is internal, it is the 10 pin socket, of which there are ussually two on your motherboard.) This allows you to connect this card reader and another USB port device (such as external USB ports)
